It is with great sadness that the family of the late EUGENE HANNAM of Jean De Baie announces his passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Monday June 18, 2012 at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Rita of 56 years; Sons Jerry (Marie) of Spokane, Washington, Tony (Trudy) of Creston South, Patrick of Jean de Baie, Mike (Tina) of Creston South, Richard (Alice) of Jean de Baie, and Ron (Debbie) of Creston South; Daughters Roberta (Jim) Moore of Placentia, Glenda Hannam (Karl Gilbert) of Edmonton, AB, and Geraldine (Phonse) Dobbin of Jean de Baie; 15 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Sister Bridget Stewart of Marystown; Brothers Roche (Patsy) Hannam of Marystown, Joe (Jo-anne) Hannam of St. John’s, and Pete (Sheila) Hannam of Nova Scotia; Sister-in-laws Susanna Hannam of Marystown, and Anna Hannam of Nova Scotia; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Peter and Clara Hannam; and Brothers Ben and Johnny Hannam.

Funeral Mass took place from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown on Thursday June 21, 2012 at 2:00pm. Interment followed at the Star of The Sea R.C. Cemetery in Jean de Baie.
