EMMANUEL PIERRE TANGAS March 29, 1959 - April 11, 2008 Emmanuel "Mano" Pierre Tangas passed away in Salmon Arm after a lengthy battle with diabetes. Mano is survived by his son Peter Statsmann, his daughter in-law Alisha Beday of Kamloops, BC as well as a large extended family. He is predeceased by his father Peter Tangas, as well as his son Paul Emmanuel Tangas-Statsmann who passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2006. Mano was born in Greece, moving with his family to British Columbia in the early 1970's. He spent most of his adult years working as a chef at several establishments within BC and Alberta. He enjoyed the outdoors and lived life to the fullest with his family and large group of friends. A Celebration of Mano's Life will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rob Scott officiating. Viewing will take place for family and friends, prior to the service, between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
