In Loving Memory of Diane Linda Ellen Edgecombe (nee Kitt) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Diane, a beloved wife, sister and friend. Diane passed away April 9th with her love Wayne and her sister-in-law Theresa at her side. Diane's memory will always be treasured by her husband Wayne Edgecombe, his daughter Vicki (Michael) their son Kai, sister Judy Lunny (Brian) their daughters Robin (Larry) & Marni (Chris), brothers John, Ed, and Don (Theresa) and their children Tara (Joel), Brandy (Cam), Jennifer (Mark), Brittany, & Eric. Wayne & Diane's 'children' Monty (dog), Missy & Midnight (cats) will also dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her mom Bernice in 2001 and her dad John in 1974. Diane was born in Kenora, Ontario on October 30, 1957. She moved to Vancouver in the 70's where she continued her caring for others. She moved to Goldbridge to be with the love of her life Wayne in 1992. They later moved to Sorrento where she lovingly worked at the Quaaout Lodge. They moved to the Little Fort area in 2005. A talented and creative artist all her life, Diane also had a love and compassion for all living things that crawled, flew or walked on this earth. She was a spiritual and incredibly determined woman, with a dear love of her family. Our sincere gratitude to Viktor Gundel, RIH Chaplain, the Cancer Clinic Staff and Dr. Haugen, the nurses and volunteers at Hospice, and Rachel Kealey for all their compassionate care and support of both Diane and her family. The family wishes that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9 or to the Kamloops Humane Society, 1598 Wedgewood Cres. Kamloops, BC V2B 5Z7 A Celebration of Diane's life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at St. Andrews on the Square, 159 Seymour Street, Kamloops. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services. 554-2324
