Passed away peacefully, June 20, 2012, surrounded by her family and caring staff of the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Anne Doyle of Stephenville, Bernard (Rebecca) Doyle of Mississauga, Ontario and Catherine (Chris) McDonald of Stephenville. Also leaving to mourn are her precious grandchildren: Christopher McDonald, Matthew McDonald, David Stacey, Hillary Stacey, Catherine Doyle, Zack Doyle and Kevin James Doyle; her sister Gertrude Gillis of Codroy and brother Bob Gale (Maybelle) of Stephenville; her aunt Sister Gertrude Caroline of Wellesley, Massachusetts and her brothers-in-law, Michael (Eileen) Doyle of Corner Brook, Leonard (Kathleen) Doyle of St. Andrews and sisters-in-law, Rita McShane of New Brunswick and Marie MacNeil of Stephenville and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Kevin Doyle, her baby boy Kevin Joseph Doyle, her sister Dorothy Oliver and brothers: Gordon Gale, Peter Gale and Johnny Gale. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre. Other expressions of sympathy are also graciously accepted.
