LOCKE 1938 - 2008 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Rilla. She will be sadly missed by her loving children, daughters Faye Locke-Richardson (Butch Richardson), Leslie Ault, Victoria Locke, son Tony Locke, grandchildren Kimberley (Victor) Hooper, Erica (Adrian) Stan, April (Shane) Paul, Christina (Bruce) Sutherland, Shawna (Chris) Bergstrand, Billy Ault, Derek Locke, Jesse Locke, great grandchildren, Johnathan, Brooklyn, Kyra-Lynn, Alexis, Dyllan, Chelsea, Nathan, Katelyn, Natalee, Alysa, as well as her brother Brian Daniels, best friends Sylvia and Dwayne Hillman, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Edna Daniels and her first husband Gary Locke and second husband Raymond Boswell. Mom was born in Kelowna, BC. From there they moved to Summerland, Peachland, OK Falls. When she was in her late teens she moved to Vancouver, met Gary, got married and then came Faye, Leslie and Tony. Then they moved to Surrey and that's when Vickie came along. Mom and Dad divorced, and she moved to Merritt to be close to her Mom and Dad. In 1974 she moved to Kamloops and married Raymond. Later that year they divorced. Over the years, she made many friends that we, the family would like to say thank you for being there for her. We'd like to say a special thank you to the girls at Bedford Manor, all the ambulance paramedics who helped her over the years, the nurses in emerg at RIH, the patient nurses on 3-South and staff at Pratt's Pharmacy. An extra special thank you to the greatest doctor to live, Paul Yanko. Mom loved and respected you a lot. Mom didn't want a service. Flowers graciously accepted, or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Box 1412, Kamloops, BC, V2C 6L7 in Mom's name. Kamloops Funeral Home 554-2577 Condolences may be sent to the family from www.kamloopsfuneralhome.com
