In Loving Memory of William Peter Ferstay March 29, 1923 - April 22, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Peter Ferstay. Bill fell asleep in death with a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, friend, father, brother and grandfather. Bill was born in Hillcrest, Alberta on March 29, 1923. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary Ferstay, as well as his brother John and sisters: Anne and Mary Ferstay. He is remembered by his loving wife Joan (Anne), son Gregg, step daughter Cindylee (Marc) Cordonier, step son Flemming (Brenda) Anderson and grandchildren: Neil, Kris, Kirsten Anderson and Erik Cordonier, as well as his sister Pauline Grigel. Bill Served in The Royal Canadian Navy as a Petty Officer on the corvettes Huntsville and Gifford. A great thank you to Dr. Alex Leung for his help, compassion and dedication to Bill and his family through Bill's illness. The family wishes that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia St. Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 in memory of Bill.
