Peter Wing May 4, 1914 - December 27, 2007 Kim Wing (Kwong) November 15, 1913 - March 15, 2008 A memorial service for Peter and Kim Wing will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul Street. Peter and Kim were lifelong champions of Kamloops, devoting their lives to the city and its people. Through church, service clubs, business, and Peter's election as Alderman and Mayor, they shared their love for Kamloops for over fifty years. But their influence spread far beyond the city: they gained recognition from BC, Canada, and from communities and VIPs around the world. A warm and loving couple, Peter and Kim inspired everyone they met with their hospitality and grace. Through their real-life harmony, they demonstrated a marriage even stronger than idealized TV and radio couples like "Ozzie and Harriet" or "Fibber McGee and Molly". Peter and Kim were inseparable partners for over 75 years, celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary just last November. We share the belief that they are together once again
