LEBLANC, CLAUDETTE - Claudette Leblanc, 79, formerly of Manoir Notre-Dame in Moncton, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Villa Providence in Shediac where she resided. Born in Mont-Carmel-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Germaine (Girouard) Cormier. Before her retirement, Claudette was a revenue officer at Service New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Branch. She is survived by one daughter, Monique Thompson (Ken) of Winnipeg, MB; one son, Jean-Guy (Ruth) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Lauren, Megan and Jason; six sisters: Georgina George (Barney), Bernice Priest and Marguerite Lewis (Julien), all of Vancouver, BC, Blanche Anderson (Jim) of Calgary, AB, Yvonne Falardeau (David) of Moncton and Jacqueline Younghusband (Glen) of Victoria, BC; two brothers: Oswald of San Jose, CA, and Edouard Cormier (Yvette) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Oswald; a sister, Lorraine and a brother, Émile.
No visitation by request. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
