The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, following a brief illness, on Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, of Elroy A. Enman, of Norman Drive, Summerside, aged 80 years. Born in Waltham, Mass, he was the son of the late Roy and Gertrude (Ramsay) Enman. Elroy was a veteran of the Korean War. Survived by his wife Ethel (Ballum) Enman. Loving father of Brent (Elle) Lancaster, South Carolina; Bruce (Denise) Nashua, New Hampshire; Sylvia (Charles) Taylor, Tyaskin, Maryland; and step-father of Karen and Calvin Nakonechny. Survived, as well, by a sister Dorothy Olsen, Nashua, New Hampshire; brother Ira (Dorothy), Summerside; grandchildren Chadd, Lauren and Cody Enman; Charles, Wayne and Gerald Taylor; and by step-grandchildren Brandy Burford and Martina Nemanic. Elroy worked for 35 years at Hewlett Packard as a production manager and enjoyed painting, playing guitar, building model ships and carving beautiful birds for recreation. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Victoria West Peoples Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. only.
