BOB BROWN 1930 - 2008 Robert Osborne Brown of Kamloops passed away on April 23, 2008 at 78 years of age. Bob is survived by his sons Gordon and William Brown, both of Kamloops; brothers and sisters Wayne & Barb of 100 Mile House, Terry & Sharon of Kamloops, Neil Brown of Vancouver, Marge & Don Barber of Port Alberni, Mildred & Trevor Bagley of Port Alberni, and June Moore of Kamloops. Predeceased by his sister Grace in 2006, father John Brown in 1983 and mother Marg Brown in 1994. Bob was born in Bridgeburg, Ontario on April 10, 1930. At the age of 18, he and his 16 year old sister Millie left Ontario for BC. They didn't have enough for gas, so they had to work along the way. In British Columbia, Bob worked in the forest industry.
