NITZ, ANNA LOIS - The death of Anna Lois Nitz of Geary, NB occurred on June 24th, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born June 16th, 1930 in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Susan (Granville) Stilwell and wife to Theodore Nitz. Anna loved to knit, crochet and read, but most of all loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Anna is survived by her husband, Theodore; her children, Brian Nitz of Edmonton, AB, Nancy Nitz-Ashby (Alan) of Oromocto, NB, Wanda Carmont of Hartland, NB and Rodney Nitz (Lynne) of Oromocto, NB; grandchildren, Joshua, Brandi, Mackenzie, Delaney, Shannon, Jordan, Luke, Robert, Brandon and Ryan; six great-grandchildren and one son-in-law, Norm Muller of Texas. She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Leah; siblings, Hazen, Arthur, Orville, Greta, Pauline, Susan and Donna, Doris and Stephen.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Baptist Church on Thursday, June 28th, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. Interment will be in the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Memorial Cemetery.
