CORMIER, GERALDINE - Geraldine Cormier of ProTem Health Services (formerly of St-Joseph) passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 87. Born on March 27, 1925 in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Philias Cormier and the late Arthemise LeBlanc. Geraldine worked at the National Bank for 47 years until her retirement. She was a member JOC (Jeunesse Ouvrière Catholic), club Richelieu and volunteer for many charitable organizations. She is survived by her sister, Therese, one brother Aldoria (Jeannette) Cormier of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Aline (June 1, 2012), Anita and Ella (Infant) and by three brothers Arthur, Henri and Yvon.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallee on Tuesday, June 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, June 27 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Wednesday June 27 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
