HARRISON, Robert Owen ("Bob") October 23, 1926 - April 17, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Bob was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis (Vin) Dawson, and is survived by his brother, Ken Harrison. His wife of 32 years, Sylvia Harrison, had been in hospital and also passed away on April 26, 2008. Bob and Sylvia are survived by Sylvia's children, Doug (Linda) Greensword and Sherry (George) Elder, and Sherry's children, Judy and Bradley, and great grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Emma and Liam. Bob and Sylvia also leave behind to cherishUtheir memory,UBob's son, Arthur Harrison, and daughter, Sandra (Philip) Walters and Sandra's children, Heather, Harry and Sarah. Bob loved the North Country and recently published his memories, describing his many adventures as a bush pilot. The following poem was found in his effects "Dedicated to Pilot, Bob Harrison": wings across a golden sunlit sky wings across a shadow do not ask us why wings across a stormy, long-lost land wings across the rain the thunder and the storm wings who travel with the lost Horizon wings with courage born upon the breeze to those who fly, our thanks - Author Unknown Respecting Bob's wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will host a Celebration of Life get-together on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Bistro 333 at 333 Shuswap Avenue in Chase, B.C
