Passed peacefully away at his residence on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 Manuel William Hillier age 67 years of Cape Freels. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Bessie Hillier; brother Sandy; sister Estelle; mother and father-in-law Malcolm and Statia Matthews. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Priscilla; sons Darren(Carolyn) of Cape Freels and Jason(Darlene) of Cape Freels; grandchildren Sandy, Zachary, Alex and Devon; brothers Jake(Lillian) of Wabush and Stewart(Margaret) of Calgary, AB; sisters Minnie(Forward) of Coley’s Point, Verna(Seymore) of Cape Freels, Joan of Nanaimo, BC and Blanche(Wayne) of Coley’s Point; brothers and sisters-in-law Charlotte(Rex), Blanche(Melvin), Absalom(Margaret), Lillian(Nathan), Rose(Stanley), Gary(Shirley), Peter(Susan), Jesse(Sheila), Malcolm(Ann), Maggie(Clayton), Millie(Percy), John(Neta), Sheila, Job Leon and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at Trinity United Church, Newtown on Friday, June 22, 2012 with Reverends Lorne and Roberta Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The United Cemetery, Cape Freels.
