Sylvia Maud Harrison 1920 - 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Sylvia died April 26, 2008 at the Sarcee Hospice. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Laura Lane, sisters Ivy Gould and Phyllis Wilkins, brother Cyril Lane and also by the sudden death of her husband of 32 years,URobert O. Harrison on April 17th, 2008. Left to cherish her memory are Sylvia's children Doug (Linda) Greensword, Sherry (George) Elder, grandchildren Bradley (Trudy) Elder, great-grandchildren Emma and Liam;UJudie (Brad) Jacobs, great-granddaughters Emily and Hannah; plus many nieces and nephews;UBob's daughter Sandra (Philip) Walters, and grandchildren Heather, Harry and Sarah and Bob's son, Arthur Harrison. Sylvia will be remembered by her sisters in Beta Sigma Phi, where she served at various times in her life in North Battleford, Calgary and Kamloops Chapters, plus her friends in W.I. (Chase, BC). Sylvia and her husband Bob moved from Chase, BC and spent the last 3 1/2Uyears of their lives in Calgary to live near her family. We will miss her dearly and cherish her memory forever,Uuntil we meet again. She has been a blessing to all of us and we are forever grateful to have shared our lives with her. A Memorial Service will be held for Sylvia on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1:30 P.M., St. James Anglican Church, 6351 Ranchview Drive NW Calgary, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Salvation Army (ab.salvationarmy.ca), or to a charity of the donor's choice
