LILY VIOLET REYNOLDS April 25, 1938 - May 4, 2008 Lily passed away peacefully at Overlander Hospital, after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. A cosmetologist by trade, Lily spent her younger years living and working in Hollywood and the Los Angeles area. Her illness brought her to Kelowna to be closer to her family, then to Kamloops for the last several years to be with Florence. She was predeceased by her parents Alberta and Philip Lippert, her sister Lenora Ackerman and brother Ray Lippert. She leaves to mourn, her brother Harold Lippert (Kamloops), sister Viola Hunter (Calgary), sister Florence (Fred) Wonnenberg (Kamloops) and sister-in-law Irene Lippert (Oliver). Nieces and nephews include Gloria (Fred) Boyle, Malanda (Lorne) Olsen, Judy Wonnenberg, Wayne Wonnenberg, Lynda (Paul) Stabler, Frances Petruck, Phyllis (John) Vance, Brenda (Tom) Vandenbrink, Jeff (Sheryl) Lippert. Lily also had numerous special nieces and nephews. The family would like to express thanks for the kindness and special care extended to her by Dr. Broughton and the staff at Overlander Extended Care. A Funeral Service for Lily will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
