The death occurred at Community Hospital, O’Leary, with his family at his side on Thursday, December 31, 2009 of George Drew Strang of Bloomfield, aged 64, dear husband of Joan (nee Laframboise) Strang. Born in O’Leary on June 5, 1945, son of the late Ross and Edith (MacWilliams) Strang. Dear father of Caroline Strang-MacPhee ( Darren), Stratford; Darlene Getson (Lorne) Kildare Capes; George Jr. Coburg, ON. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Megan, Nicole Getson. Brother of Doris Mincie, O’Leary, Ian Strang, O’Leary; Frances Wallace (Reg), Elmsdale; Eva Gamble (Ron), Canoe Cove, Erroll Strang (Marilyn), Mill River. Charles, Toronto, ON. He was predeceased by brothers Vernon, Herbie, John, two brothers in infancy Donald and Benjamin, sisters Freda MacDougall and Florence Carbajal. A private family graveside service was held on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery with Mr Rankin MacKinnon officiating.
