The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her family by her side, of Ferne Alma (Buell) MacDonald of Georgetown, P.E.I. on January 1, 2010, in her 68th year. Survived by husband Jackie (John) MacDonald and children Stephen Robbins, Shawna Robbins and Wade Robbins. Loving grandmother of Kendall and Kristie Robbins. Also survived by sisters Isabel (D.D.) Nicholson, Bertha Robbins, Elsie (Vernie) MacKay, Nellie MacLellan and Valerie (William) Gordon and brothers Fenton Buell and Heath (Valerie) Buell. Predeceased by parents Nelson and Rhoda (Kennedy) Buell, sisters Ruby MacEachern, Marjorie Gallant, Eva Brehaut and brother Roy Buell. Resting at St. James Church, Georgetown for visitation on Sunday, January 3 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, January 4 at 2:30 p.m. from St. James Church, Georgetown. Interment later. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to P.E.I. Lung Association. Arrangements entrusted to Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home.
