Helen Morrison, 89, of Loch Lomond, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Helen was the daughter of the late Donald John and Mary (Ferguson) MacLeod, Framboise.
Helen was a homemaker and caregiver, and a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Loch Lomond. She had a strong passion for knitting, especially Eppie dolls for the children of Afghanistan and finger puppets for the children at the IWK.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Ann Neil, Halifax, Wilma (Gordon) Rhodinzer, Mahone Bay; sons, Dan Alex, Kenneth, both of Loch Lomond, David, Howie Centre, Robert, Alberta, and Peter, Dartmouth. Helen is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her husband William in 1986.
A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date in Loch Lomond.
