It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Eleanor Jessica Fraser on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late William and Marion (Snow) Kennedy.
She was a member of Wilson United Church Florence. Eleanor’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her cherished children grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her seven sons, Allistair, Rene (Clare), George (Sherry), Sandy, Kenny (Joanne), Troy (Denise), and Scott (Jenna) and by several grandchildren who were the love of her life.
In keeping with her wishes cremation had taken place with a private family burial to follow at a later date.
In memory of Eleanor a donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.
