HAIRSINE Hairsine, Peter Royston passed away with his family at his side on May 21, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother: Ida Hairsine of England, children: Andy (Derry) Hairsine of St. Mary's, On., Joanne (Roy) Colmer of Penticton, BC., Karen (Leo) Jean of Prince George, BC., six grandchildren: Marissa, Alix, Ryan, Caleigh, Jeremy, Stephanie, one brother: Michael (Anne) of Australia. Sadly predeceased by his wife & mate Janet, father: Herbert, son-in-law: Ron Searle. Peter was born and raised in England, met his love, Janet, in Egypt and settled in Canada, where they raised their family. As Dad said, "I've done more in life than most people have dreamed of and have no regrets". He was a good and honourable man, and will be missed by all. Thank you to the many doctors and nurses who helped with Peter's recent care, especially the angels of mercy who work at the Moog & Friends Hospice House, 1701 Government Street, Penticton, BC., V2A 8J7. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street, Kamloops, BC with The Very Reverend Louise Peters officiating.
