A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she passed peacefully away in her 74th year on Thursday, June 28, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, parents Henry and Edith Murray, brother Tony, sister Lolly, and infant niece Roberta Renee. Left with many beautiful memories of her courage and strength are son Bobby (Tina and Ryan); daughter Patti-Lynn (Dan) Goodwin; wonderful Nana to Colin and Luke Goodwin and step-grandson Jordan Goodwin; special Nan to Chris Coombs, Mark and Colin Del Degan, Erica, Leslie, and Harrison Latham; also leaving to mourn, brother Bob (wife Joan); sister Colleen (husband Dan) Del Degan; sisters-in-law: Muriel Barron and Mary Kennedy; special aunt Gladys Winsor and uncle Steve Maher (Goose Bay); dear cousin Judy Moakler; precious friends who always brightened Maudie’s day, Ruby Ellsworth, Dot King, Benneth Latham, Marilyn Pincock, Mary Ring, and Ros Janes; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. At her request, cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 12 noon-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
