It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martin Alexander announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospial on Friday, January 1st, 2010 at the age of 91yrs. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jenesta, three sons, Bert (Marie), Michael (Shirley) and Bruce all in Kippens, one daughter Pamela AuCoin in Brantford, Ontario. He also leaves with fond memories his brother Richard in Aguathuna, his sister Madaline Marche in the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing along with nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Monday from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
