Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Clare’s Hospital on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010, Martha Kathleen Bishop (Cranford) nee Turner, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Corbett Cranford, husband Harold Bishop, brother Cecil Turner, sister Viola Elizabeth Turner and grandaughter Colleen Cranford. Leaving to mourn her sister Vera Powell and family; sons: Dave (Lynn), Alf (Judy), Ray (Cathy), Terry (Noreen); daughters: Linda and Jean (J.P.); 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, special cousin Nellie Hennebury and a large circle of friends and relatives, especially Ron and Rosie Cook and those at the Seniors Resource Centre. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, January 4th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to the Seniors Resource Centre or a charity of one’s choice.
