GILLESPIE, SANDRA JEAN - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sandra Jean (Little) Gillespie of Harvey, NB, July 1, 2012 at the DECH, Fredericton, NB. Born August 5, 1942 in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Elizabeth (Coburn) Little.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Gillespie; daughter, Dawn (Nelson) Cole; sons, Billy (Joelle), Ronnie (Shari), Nicky (Audrey) Gillespie, all of Harvey; her grandchildren, Trina (Brad), Daniel (Carla), Justin (Jodi), Joel (Vanessa), Katie (Adrian), Brad, Holly (Brett), Cody, James and Isabelle; great-grandchildren, Riley, Jack and Autumn; her sister, Norma Little of Harvey; brother, Ross Little (Virginia) of Fredericton; sister in-law, Ruth Little of McAdam; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Donnie and Ralph Little, brother in-law Jimmy Little and infant grandson Allan Gillespie.
Visitation will take place at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway #3, Harvey, NB on July 3 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral will be held from the St. Andrews United Church, 2350 Highway #3, Harvey, NB on July 4, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Kay Clowater and Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Remembrances can be made to DECH Oncology Unit, or Rockland Cemetery. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Broad, Dr. Raza and Dr. Swan and the staff on oncology at the DECH. Special thanks to Steve, Anna Marie and the staff on 4NW DECH, and Dr. Campbell and staff from the Radiation Department, Saint John Regional Hospital.
