Munroe, Stella M. – 79, of Parrsboro and formerly of Sudbury, Ontario passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in River Hebert, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Stella (Smith) McAloney. She is survived by sons, Bud (Jayne), Sudbury, Ont.; David (Michelle), Phillip (Jane), all of Elliott Lake, Ont.; Kevin (Kim), Parry Sound, Ont.; a sister, Betty MacKinnon (Ray), Sudbury, Ont.; a brother, Cecil (Sharon), Sudbury, Ont.; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Keith Selwyn-Smith, D.L.M. officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery.
