It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie Offrey of Hawkes Bay, NL, announce her passing on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Helen (Lawrence) Patey, Hawkes Bay, Marlene Maynard, St. John’s, Arthur (Linda), New Brunswick, Granville (Dianne), Edmonton, Alberta, Robert (Michelle), Hawkes Bay, Murray (Mary), Grand Prairie, Alberta, Lila, Grand Cache, Alberta, and special family member Joe (Hilda), Port au Choix; grandchildren Larry, Lisa (Craig), Amanda, Colleen, Monique, Denise (Larris), Arthur (Joanne), Jason (Tracey), Jessica (Clay), Renee, Bobby (Danielle), Joshua (Candace), Barry, Dale, AJ (Laura), Cody, Kyle (Chrissy), Clint (Jennifer), Trent (Jolene), Desmond, Vernon, Tyrone and Corine; great-grandchildren Aaron, Matthew, Briana, Brandon, Dillon, Kayley, Katie, Kelsey, Aliyah, Christian, Lucas, Colton, Keaton, Maggie, Tyler and Tristen; great-great-grandchild Landon; sister Jennie (Vernon); sister-in-law Yvonne, as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald, parents Arthur and Ellen House, grandson Chad, great-grandson Andre, sisters Margaret and Louise, brothers David and Edgar; and son-in-law Edward Maynard. Visitation took place at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Hawkes Bay on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service took place on Friday, June 29 at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
