It is with great sadness that the family of the late Francis Kelly of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Gordon (Irene), Theresa (Byron), David (Ivy), Dereck (Judy), Regina, Vera (Terry), Lloyd, Harrison (Sharon), Genevieve (Austin), Michael (Denise), Marie (Daryl), Madeline (Calvin), Elsie (Mark), Kevin (Laura), Mercedes (Harvey) and Gary (Kim); 33 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters Kevina, Agnus, Delia and Ann; brothers William, Michael and Joe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alphonsus, parents Michael and Lillian Cormier, sisters Mary and Margaret, brothers Lloyd, Edward and Kevin. Visitation was held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Saturday and Sunday. The funeral service took place on Monday, July 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix with Fr. Biju Antony officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
