Montrose "Mon" Genge
Passed away suddenly due to a tragic accident on June, 26, 2012, Mr. Montrose “Mon” Genge of Anchor Point, NL, in his 62nd year. Mon leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Una; sons Pierre (Jackie) and Monty (Judy); grandchildren Jagger, Linden, Dustin, Jade, and Dayna; brothers Abe (Jane), Doug (Bertha), Brone (Bill), Troy (Connie), Steward (Dorcas), (the late Emanuel Jr.) Fiona; and Marvin (Louise); sisters Beulah (Jake), and Millicent (Clift), nieces and nephews Karen (Mike), Stephen, Rick (Crystal), Benay (Troy), Annette (Ashley), Jeffrey (Judy), Trina (Dave), Andy, Ward (Brenda), Easta (Dan), Dane (Jadean), Murray (Tina), Jason, Trixie (Leroy), Tyson (Sabrina), and Andrew, as well as a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his mother Dora, father Emanuel, father-in-law Garfield Chambers, brother Emanuel Jr., brothers-in-law Calvin and Allan Chambers. Visitation was held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 1st with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
