VICTOR LIND June 30, 1956 ~ June 9, 2008 Vic passed away peacefully at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice. He is survived by his loving wife Linda; father Loyd (Sepkje); mother in-law Hedy Usipiuk, children Trevor Lind, Murray Usipiuk (Tammy Stokes) all of Kamloops, and Nicole Lind of Ontario; and his grandchildren Lindsay Roste and Murray Garett Usipiuk Jr. He also leaves his brothers Hans (Sherry) of Calgary, and Montey of Kamloops; his sisters Tracey Keohne (Brett) and Sherry Hall, both of Kitimat, sister and brother in-law Helen & Lyle Hanson of Kamloops, brother and sister in-law Gordon & Rhonda Usipiuk of Victoria BC; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and special friends Leighla & Josh Pointen & girls Willow & Devon of Calgary. He was predeceased by his mother Ellen and brother Chris. Vic enjoyed and loved his cats, cooking, fishing, darts, and spending time in the backyard at BBQs. He was in the military after returning to Kamloops, he was the head plumber for Rocky Mountain Vacationeers for 11 years. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and co-workers at the yard. Vic will also be missed by his Tuesday night dart team - Simon, Bruce & Nikki. A special thank you to all staff and volunteers at the Hospice House, home care nurses, and Dr. Paul Farrell. Viewing will take place prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2008 with Pastor Vern Frudd officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
