Mona (Bonnie) Pritchett
July 25, 1920 - May 09,2012
It is with heartfelt appreciation that we, the family of Mona (Bonnie) Pritchett, acknowledge all who helped in the celebration of her life. She would have been so proud to see so many family and friends joining her for the last time in the little church in Glenwood.
Thank you to Rev. Bruce Vallis for the beautiful service, Ruth Brown for playing mom’s favorite music and doing such a great job on her interpretation of “The Dash”; Glenys Northcott, John Downing, and Kelly Spencer for the readings; Barbara Pomeroy for reading the messages; and to six of her favorite people, Gary Pritchett, Eli Loder, Shawn Spencer, Kelly Spencer, Gus Northcott, and Ted Northcott, who were honoured to carry her on her last journey. Also, we very much appreciate all those who sent cards, messages, flowers, brought food, visited, and gave donations to her church in Glenwood.
We would also like to thank Dr. Willie Arsenault for his attention and kindness to mom, and also to those staff members of the CJMH who spent the extra time with her, listened to her stories, danced with her and made her stay there a little more enjoyable, and to Wanda Paddock, whose compassion and warmth was a blessing.
Last, but not least, thank you to Pennys Funeral Home, and Stacey’s Funeral Home for taking care of mom and preparing her to meet her family and old friends who are waiting for her, probably with a pack of cards in their hand, and asking ‘what took you so long‘.. She lived a long, active, and fulfilling life and she is now at rest.
She is missed!
Kate, Gary, and Judy, and Families.
