John Michael Clair
It is with great sorrow and shock that we announce the passing of John Michael Clair on December 31, 2009 in Saskatoon after a 2 year fight with cancer at the age of 62 years. His passing has left the love of his life and partner Margaret; children, Laura (Jack Reiter) and Brett; Christina (Kyle Lundgren) and Nicholas Zimmer; Bryan; Heather; Denise. Also survived by sister, Margaret (Armand Thompson); mother in law, Ida Bole; aunts Eleanor Melsom, Jean Spence and Margaret Spence; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Gone to the loving arms of his father and mother, Hubert and Dorothy; and father in law, John J Bole. John was a faithful participant of the Roman Catholic Church. He was also an active farm advocate on various Federal, Provincial and Local Boards. His other love was his lake life. Ski-doo club was a large part of his winter months and fishing from his pontoon boat for the summer ones. He was still very active at the farm right up to his passing. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. from Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Radisson, SK. Rite of Committal will follow in the Radisson Roman Catholic Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Christopher Lake on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 12:15 p.m. Memorial donations in John’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
