In loving memory of Mary Danchak (nee Rumak) July, 1920 - June 20, 2008 Mary passed away peacefully at Woodland Nursing Home in Barrie, Ontario in her 88th year. Mom was born in Pine River, Manitoba to a loving, hard working family of six brothers and one sister. She loved the farm life but in 1944 when she met and married William Danchak, being young and adventurous, they headed to Toronto, Ontario. It was here they raised their three children. Mom was a generous, kind person who always had perogies on hand. (as big as Calzones!). Mom is survived by her brother Bill Rumak, Toronto, Ontario; her children Jim (Linda) Danchak, Brampton, Ontario and John (Kathie) Danchak, Kamloops, B.C. Her grandchildren; Stephen (Lisa) Danchak, London, Ontario, Christopher Danchak and Amanda Danchak, Brampton, Ontario, Matthew Danchak, Kamloops, B.C. and Nicole (T.J.) Williams, Slave Lake, Alberta. Her Great-grandchildren; Justin, Nathan and Kaia, as well as nieces and nephew's living throughout Canada. Mom was predeceased by her husband, William and daughter Elizabeth. Funeral services were held on June 24, 2008 and mom was laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Don Mills, Ontario.
