CAMPBELL Marion E. (Mayne) Campbell (nee Tayler) passed away on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 at the Ponderosa Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Walter (Curly) Campbell, her son Donald Campbell and her brother Walt Tayler. She is survived by her daughters Bonita Lundberg of Saskatoon, Sask. and Nola Campbell of Kamloops, her brother Alfred Tayler of Penticton, her sister Nonie Shea of Kamloops, her six grandchildren Trish and Mike Hartford, Crystal and Jodie Lundberg, and Tim and Adam Burris, great grandchild Michael Hartford and her many loving nieces and nephews. Marion was born in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan on September 28, 1918. The family lived in Kanistino and Caruthers and then Turtleford Sask. She married Walter (Curly) Campbell in Lloydminster Sask. in 1938 and shortly after they moved to Penticton B.C. with both their families where they lived until 1960. The scenery in British Columbia was fuel for her passion and she painted many wonderful scenes. She attended the Banff school of fine arts in the summer of 1948 and was fortunate to have a painting lesson from A.Y. Jackson.
