HINCHEY Beatrice Mary (Maisie) Hinchey (nee Wells) passed away peacefully on June 29th at the age of 101. She asked to go and was granted her wish. Amazing Maisie, as she was known to her friends, has lived at Glenfair since 1977. She was born in Moose Jaw, Sask. and graduated in nursing from the Moose Jaw General Hospital.U She nursedUin Moose Jaw, Calgary, Cranbrook, Kelowna, Kitimat and Kamloops and retired in 1975. She was married to William Leslie (Bill) Hinchey who predeceased her in 1972.U Her son Sheldon died the same year. She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Grant and his wife Marilyn, nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. A celebration of Maisie's life will be held at St. Paul's Cathedral in Kamloops on July 9th at 10:30 a.m. with a gathering in the hall following the service. The family requests no flowers.
