The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, of Lillian Mae Marchbank, of Summerside and formerly of Wilmot Valley, aged 95 years. Born in West Devon, she was the daughter of the late James and Mae (Sellick) Beaton. Survived by her children Doris (Bob) Farris, Wayne (Nancy), Donna (John) Robinson, Dale (Goldie), Gale (Harry) Rogerson, Sherrel Wadman, Debra Gallant (Jake), Terry (Randy) Oatway, Kerry (Joselyn); son-in-law Carl Reeves; 29 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; sisters Jean Khallil, Daisy (Frank) Hillier; brother Wallace (Gerry) Beaton, Kentville, N.S.; brother-in-law Ronnie Williams, St. John, N.B., and by sisters-in-law Frances Beaton and Florence Gallant. Predeceased by her husband Keir Marchbank; daughter Sandra Reeves; grandsons Michael Marchbank, Matthew Marchbank Gallant; daughter-in-law Nancy Marchbank; sons-in-law Mike Gallant, Leigh Wadman; granddaughter-in-law Kim Folland; sisters Anna Winchester, Ruth Williams, Millie Corney and Minnie Beaton; brothers George, Ralph and James Beaton; and by brothers-in-law Fred Corney, Melvin Winchester and George Khallil. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to North Bedeque United Church, for funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ambulatory Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital, the Prince County Blind Club or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
