It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alexander Fitzpatrick on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010 after a short illness at the Health Sciences Centre. A great father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed. Predeceased by his father Phillip, sisters: Carolanne and Lucy and granddaughter Jennifer. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Stella; sons: Steve, Wayne (Karen) and Rod (Tina); daughter: Kelly (Doug); mother: Florence Fitzpatrick; sisters: Phyllis Ryan (Frank). Florence Evoy (Stan), Madonna Rombach, Philomena McDonald, Patricia Hutton (Peter) and Janet Endsley; brothers: Robert (Brenda), Phillip (Susan), and Michael (Diane); Grandchildren: Alyx and Taylor, Darren, Lennon and Emile; great-grandson: Alexzander; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many great friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 7th, 2010 at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
