Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, January 3, 2010, Margaret Hall Shepherd, aged 79 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas; parents Ewart and Wilhelmina; brother Ewart; sister Lillian Vivian; parents-in-law Rev. S. Reginald and Edith Shepherd. Leaving to mourn brother Fred (Rose); special nieces: Laury and Margaret Ann Hall; special nephew Douglas (Saskia) Shepherd; brothers-in-law: Aiden, Robert (Edith), Paul (Anita); sister-in-law Shirley; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including her life-time friend Joan Pike Farnham. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Anglican Cathedral of St. John The Baptist on Thursday, January 7th at 11 a.m., cremation will follow. Interment will take place on Friday, January 8th at 1 p.m. at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
