The death occurred at the her late residence, on Monday, January 4, 2010, of Viola Perry, of Summerside, aged 83 years. Born in Tignish, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Blanche (Perry) Richard. Survived by brothers and sisters Maryann Bernard, Summerside; Henry Richard, Tignish; Syl (Sophie) Richard, Summerside; Frances Richard, Tignish; Alyre (Mary) Richard, Tignish; sister-in-law Shirley Murphy, Linkletter; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Perry; sister Irene Richard; brothers-in-law Leo Bernard and Raymond Murphy; and sister-in-law Margaret Richard. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
