UPTON, RUBY MYRTLE - It is with great sadness that the family of Ruby Upton announce her death at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Sheffield, NB, on November 9th, 1920 she was the wife of Reginald Upton of Lakeville Corner. In addition to her husband, Reginald, Ruby leaves behind her sons, Stewart (Charlotte) and Carl (Sylvia); daughter, Norma Jean (Dana); grandchildren, Nicholas (Erin), Matthew, Lacey, Andrew, Josie and Hayden; great grandchildren, Ellie and Cooper. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Myrtle (Ketch) Camp; brothers, Don and Edgar and grand daughter, Karen. Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a devoted wife to Reginald for sixty nine and a half years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruby always had a full house and loved to talk with her friends and anyone who might stop by for a visit She was also a member of the happy gang.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 16th, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Lena Medeiros officiating.
