Passed peacefully away at her daughter’s home in the presence of her loving family on Monday, January 4, 2010, Beth Drew of St. John’s, age 74 years. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Maggie Blyde; sisters: Phyllis, Beatrice, Catherine, Mary and June; brothers-in-law: Joe Murphy, Ted O’Leary, George Marshall, Nick Drew, Gerald Drew; brother Jackie Blyde; Uncle Bill O’Leary and niece Peg O’Leary. Leaving to mourn her loving husband John; daughter and best friend Linda (Harold) Sullivan; step-children: Fabian, Frances and Lucy Drew; step-grandchildren: Scott, Michael and Chantel Drew; sisters: Olive (George) Walters, New Jersey, Joan (Bob) Wolner, Arkansas, Ida (George) Marshall; brothers: Phil (Joan) Blyde, Edward (Bev) Blyde; sisters-in-law: Floss (Donald) Glynn, Nora (Gerald) Drew, Barb (Nick) Drew, Ita (Richard) Howlett, Marg (Francis) Power, Mary Drew (Henney), Betty Drew; brother-in-law George (Rita); also many nieces, nephews and friends. Special mention to a dear niece Liz (Dick) Penney, Ontario and nephew Mike (Loretta) Marshall, St. John’s; as well as many cousins from the Coleman, Baird and Brocklehurst families. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, January 4th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 5th from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 6th from St. Kevin’s Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
