Surrounded by love, at home on January 1, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, Al; and sister, Bessie; she will be greatly missed by daughter, Sandra; son, Brian (Holly); grandchildren, Kim (late Edward O’Brien) and Chris (Lori); great-grandchildren, Molly and Max; sisters, Ethel (Hector) and Jennie (John); brother, Herbert (Myrna); brothers-in-law, George (Myrna), John (Joyce), Max (Shirley); sister-in-law, Janet; her many nieces and nephews, and countless wonderful and loving friends.
Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Friday, January 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and memorial service to be held at Rothwell United Church, 42 Sumac Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice, the memorial fund, Rothwell United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
