TATTRIE, Francis Maurice “Tub” – 84, Valley, Colchester County, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 14, 2012, at Colchester Regional Hospital. Born August 18, 1927, in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late Crawford and Ida (MacDonald) Tattrie. Tub was employed with Stanfield’s from where he retired after 40 years of service. He is survived by his niece, Gail Glinz, Bowmanville, Ontario; nephew, James Tattrie, Lower Truro. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Arnold. Special thanks are extended to Janet in the Intensive Care Unit and all the staff at Colchester Regional Hospital whose care has been exceptional. Interment will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Crossroads Cemetery, 110 Salmon River Road, Valley.
