Passed away suddenly at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, July 14, 2012, Ethel Lockyer of Arnold’s Cove, formally of Woody Island P. Bay aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Alec, brothers Joe Williams, wife Minnie, Kenneth Williams, wife Alice, Rev. Edgar Williams, Wilson Williams, sister Jessie West, husband Eli. Left with fond and loving memories children Sheila Hollett (Freeman) of Arnold’s Cove, Marie Slade (Clyde) of Arnold’s Cove, Daphne Lockyer of Arnold’s Cove, Donna Adams (Ross) of Sunnyside, Wilma Lockyer of Arnold’s Cove, Dexter Lockyer (Cathy) of Arnold’s Cove; eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, sister Marie Allan (Harvey), St. John’s, sister in law Ann Williams, Arnold’s Cove and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove. Funeral service to take place 2 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at United Church, Arnold’s Cove with interment at Interfaith Cemetery in Arnold’s Cove.
