Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Saturday, July 14, 2012, of Mrs. Norida “Noodie” MacLean of Charlottetown in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald “Funnell” MacLean and dear mother of Donnie “Funnel” (Christine) MacLean, Cindy (Jamie) Ballem, and Joanne (Terry) MacLeod. Loving nanny of five grandchildren, Vanessa, Beckie, Nikalas, Robbie, Ryan and grand nanan to five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Danita (Louie) Simmonds, and her brother, Bobby Johnston. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, George “Butch” Brown and her brothers, Charlie, Arthur, Sterling, and Jimmy.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from until 10:15 on Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, 5 to 8 p.m.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Charlottetown Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Monday at 4:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
