RUTH BERYL BAYNTUN July 26, 1912 - July 9, 2008 A long time resident of Kamloops passed away at the age of 95 years at the Royal Inland Hospital. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her family, sister Eva Craig, sons Stan (Pauline) and Bob (Gloria), six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by husbands Jack Hodgson (1932) and Oliver Bayntun (1967); grandsons Barry and Daniel; brothers Cyril, Wallace and Bruce Vermilyea; sisters Janet Turgeon and Eileen McCallum. The family would like to thank Dr. Leung, the staff at the Bedford Manor and the staff on floors 3 west and 5 north of the Royal Inland Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A Celebration of life service will take place at 12:00 (noon) on Saturday, July 19 at the Desert Gardens Community Centre, 540 Seymour Street.
