AUBÉ, J. DENIS - The death of Denis Aubé occurred on July 16th, 2012 at his residence in Oromocto. Born May 26th, 1942 in Belledune, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and Emma (Morrison) Aubé and loving husband to Hilda (Luce) Aubé. Denis served his country for 28 years with the R22eR and was involved in many groups and organizations throughout the communities where he lived. This included being a 4th degree Sir Knight of Columbus, a Scout Leader, a member of the RCL Branch #18 and an active parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Denis was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren whom he was extremely proud of and loved very much. He is survived by his wife, Hilda; his sons, Michael and Marc (Celestine) both of the Oromocto area; his two grandsons, Andrew and Braden; his siblings, Charles Aubie (Maureen) of Kitchener, ON, Florence MacGillivray (Doug) of London, ON and Diane Roy of Bathurst, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Denis was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Gerald, Lil, Alvin, Ann Marie, Ronald, Annette and Doris.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at 11:00 am with Fr. Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery at a later time.
