CHRISTINA NORAH FLETCHER (Nee John) November 13, 1940 - June 28, 2008 With heavy hearts, we wish to announce the passing of our dear Norah. Norah was taken from us after a valiant struggle with cancer. Norah was predeceased by her parents Andrew John and Rose Fletcher; her daughter Sally Ann; her sisters Florence, Christine and Joyce; and her brothers Norman, Bennie and Samuel. Norah is survived by her spouse of 24 years Robert "Bob" Smith; her sister Gladys; her brothers George, Dixie (Liz), Roy (Rose Ellen) and Gordie (Carol); her children Irene (Duane), Faron, Pat (Trudi), Stewart, Ken (Val) and Darrell (Denise). Norah is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Norah was born in Leon's Creek and lived in Clinton, B.C. until 1971, when she moved to Kamloops, B.C. She enjoyed her work at Overlander Extended Care until retiring to her and Bob's home in Monte Lake, B.C. It was Norah's wish to open at Bed and Breakfast at their home by the lake but cancer took her before this dream was fully realized. Norah will be missed by longtime friend June Murry and by many other friends, family and co-workers. Norah was well loved and respected, we miss her dearly. She will always in our hearts and memories. Services were held on July 3, 2008 at Our lady of Lourdes Church, Xaxli'p (Pavilion), B.C. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Norah's name in lieu of flowers or cards would be appreciated
