SAMUEL DEAN PERRY Samuel Dean Perry "Dean", born July 16, 1939 in Kamloops, B.C. passed away suddenly on August 7th, 2008 at the age of 69 years young. Left to remember him with love is his wife of 48 years, Darlene, his son's; David (Roxanne), Dan (Jennifer) and his grandchildren; Kelsey, Travis, Leah and Jack-Gregory. Also left to mourn his passing are family members; Allan & Colleen, Sharon & Barry, Wayne and Cathy & Sheila as well as numerous nieces & nephews and many treasured friends. He is predeceased by; daughter Debbie Miller, parents Sam & Cora Perry as well as his in-laws Bruce & Jean Moffat. He will be sadly missed for his sense of humor, energy and zest for life. He was an avid outdoors man with a passion for; golf, flying, boating and most recently reviving his stamp collection. After moving to Sacramento, CA in the early 60's where he worked in carpet and drapery sales and had three children he moved his family back to his home town of Kamloops where he continued with this sales career. Later he worked for Afton mines before becoming a small business owner of Country Charm gift shop on Victoria Street until his retirement in 2004. An Open House to celebrate his life will be held on August 16th, 2008 between 1-4pm at #27-650 Harrington Rd in Westsyde. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA at 1211 8th St., Kamloops, B.C. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service. Phone 250-374-1454
