PERRY, JOSEPH – The death of Joseph Ronald Perry occurred on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1928 in Saint John, he was the son of the late J. George and M. Helen (Malley) Perry. Most commonly known as “Sammy” he was active and very well known in the local sporting scene. He is survived by his brothers J. Walter and Patrick (Christine) both of Saint John; sister Kimberley Arseneault also of Saint John; one niece. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Vincent, Leonard and John.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road Saint John (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 9 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
